CSB Bank
CSB Bank was the first bank in Curwensville.  It officially opened on August 9, 1924 in the old Opera House and was later moved to both the westerly room and the two easterly store rooms.  In November 1945 the bank purchased the Opera House Block.  They purchased it from Mary H. Norris for $20,000.  It ran 84 ft along State Street and 180 ft down to South Street.  CSB Bank has had a lot of growth over the years, which can be classified into three time periods:  1949-1972, 1974-1985, and 1986-present.
