Angels and Unicorns

The essence of Curwensville lies deep beneath its history.  Throughout the ages, prior to the civil war, many buildings have been built and many of them have been destroyed.  Since then, one astounding architectural mansion still stands this very day.  That building would be the gothic bed and breakfast of Curwensville, Angels and Unicorns.  This historical landmark was built by John Irvin in the early 1800's for himself and his wife-to-be.  Located on 211 State St. Curwensville, Pa., this old stone mansion is not only a bed and breakfast, but also contains a restaurant and antiques, thanks to Tome and Carolyn Foster who renovated the place when they bought it back in 1995.  Not only is this elaborate mansion famous for its history but also its additional changes and themes.
